CQL’s Personal Outcome Measures Chosen as the Nonprofit Innovation of the Week

TOWSON, MARYLAND – The Council on Quality and Leadership (CQL) is proud that the Leader to Leader Institute has chosen the Personal Outcome Measures^SM^ as its Nonprofit Innovation of the Week.

Since 1991, the Peter F. Drucker Award for Nonprofit Innovation has recognized social sector organizations for an innovative program or project that has made a difference in the lives of the people it serves – producing results that exemplify Peter Drucker’s definition of innovation: Change that creates a new dimension of performance.

In the first ten years of the Drucker Award, more than 2,500 nominations have been reviewed. The Drucker Nonprofit Innovation Discovery Site aims to share lessons and discoveries that are contained within the hundreds of annual nominations. The Discovery Site is revised each year to include new discoveries of innovation in a variety of areas from fund development to management, from decision-making to alliances and partnerships.

Each week, one of the programs in the Discovery Site is recognized as the Innovation of the Week. CQL’s Personal Outcome Measures^SM^ have been named Innovation of the Week for October 18-24, 2006.
