CQL Brings Community Life to ANCOR Conference
At the recent ANCOR 2007 Management Practices Conference in San Diego, CA, CQL’s Director of Communications, Shelly McLaughlin, and Quality Enhancement Specialist, Beth Mathis led an interactive session entitled ‘ “Won’t You Be My Neighbor” and Other Community Data Sing Alongs’. The session gave participants an opportunity to experience a tiny bit of CQL’s new Community Life SM LENS – an experiential workshop that leads organizations through community data gathering and analysis, and discovery of what issues are most important to the community and what role the organization can have in meeting these community challenges.
ANCOR conference participants were given data about San Diego and were asked to decide if they might want to move to San Diego based on the data as it related to health care, education, employment, housing, transportation, and recreaton and leisure.
The Community Life SM LENS will be available in June 2007.
