Shoemaker, Jeff

Jeff Shoemaker is a Quality Consultant with The Council. Jeff has been in the human services arena since the early 1970s, having served in a variety of administrative and voluntary positions with organizations supporting children and adults. One of Jeff’s early positions was as a training coordinator, and he remains convinced today that appropriate and timely staff training is at the heart of enhancing service quality. Jeff has a masters degree in clinical psychology and, for a number of years, had a private counseling practice and taught undergraduate and graduate level college courses. Included in his life experiences is a period when he and his wife served as foster parents to several adolescents having disabilities. Now living in Littleton, Colorado, Jeff is taking his years of experience in human services, college classroom teaching, and day-to-day living and applying it to working with organizations having the desire to improve the quality of their support services, so as to assist others in improving the quality of their lives.
